RPG Receives Propulsion Order for Tugboat in Mexico
Resource Power Group (“RPG”), the medium speed engines sales and service company representing MaK, EMD, Napier Turbochargers, Mitsubishi Turbochargers, Heinzmann, Regulateurs Europa, and Noris Controls has received an order for the propulsion equipment for a new tugboat to be built for Mexico service. The order includes two new EMD 710 engines, Falk reduction gears, and Noris Controls, as well as other engine and propulsion equipment and control systems elements. The vessel will be built by Astilleros Marecsa in Mexico. With headquarters in Houston, RPG offers medium speed engine sales and service in the Middle Americas at workshop locations in Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Mexico, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.
